ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT WITH REXALL SHOWCASE INTERNATIONAL
RSI to use Promune
in Three of its Newest Products SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (October
1, 1999) -- Optim Nutrition Inc., the wholly-owned subsidiary
of Biomune Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIME) today announced
an agreement with Rexall Showcase International, Inc. (RSI)
for the use of its patented and proprietary ingredient,
Promune. RSI is the direct sales division of Rexall Sundown,
Inc. (Nasdaq: RXSD). The agreement is designed to increase
the exposure and use of Promune in the consumer retail market
over the next few years. RSI has the exclusive use of Promune
within the direct selling industry. "We are very excited
